Hello! Our new topic is "Our wonderful world". Unfortunately, we can't travel now. But let's learn some information about other countries and think about our plans for our future trips.

What do you need for distance learning? Your computer, tablet or smartphone, pupil's book, workbook and exercise book. I'll give you some instructions and tasks. Remember! I'll check your work and you'll get a lot of marks. Your marks depend only on you. I hope you'll like our lessons. And let's start!

Pupil's book:

1) p. 86, ex. 1. Listen to the song. Read it twice aloud.

4) p. 86-87, ex. 2a, 2b. Match the transcriptions with the words. Write them into your dictionaries. (Записать слова с транскрипцией и переводом в словарь, учиться читать, учить написание слов)

5) p. 87-88, ex. 3a,b. Read the task. Listen. Answer the questions.

6) p. 88, ex. 4. Study the table.

Артикли с географическими названиями. Всё очень просто.

Мы никогда НЕ ИСПОЛЬЗУЕМ неопределенный артикль "а" с географическими названиями.

Мы НЕ ИСПОЛЬЗУЕМ НИКАКИХ АРТИКЛЕЙ с названиями континентов (North America, Europe), стран (Belarus, France), городов (Minsk, Paris). Но есть исключения, которые нужно запомнить: the UK, the USA. 

Вся вода ИСПОЛЬЗУЕТСЯ с определенным артиклем "the":

• Океаны (The Indian Ocean)
• Моря (The Black Sea)
• Реки (The Nile, the Neman, the river Thames)
• Озёра (the Naroch, the Baikal) 

Но и тут есть исключения: если речь идёт об озёрах, то у нас есть 2 варианта на выбор. Либо слово Lake, либо артикль the. Но ни в коем случае не вместе. Это касается только озёр!
